Looks like a nice idea, but I'm not giving anyone my name, address, and phone number so that I can then be relentlessly marketed to. There's no such thing as a free lunch :)

When you hit about 48, AARP will begin their campaign to get you signed on. At that point, it becomes necessary to permanently install the shredder next to the mailbox, because between them and AAA, you won't get a moments rest.

They throw a spammer in the slammer every couple of weeks in this country. You know why? Well, firstly because they DESERVE IT! (those bastards) and secondly, because our government won't stand for someone else sending unsolicited mail. THAT'S THEIR JOB!
"I think the problem might have been, that there was a stonehenge monument on stage in danger of being crushed, by a dwarf". "I really think you're making a big thing out of this". "Making a big thing out of it would have been a good idea".

Well my mail box is about an 1/8 of a mile from my house, so I would need a pretty long extension cord, however, we do have a shredder right where the mail is opened so it can get the shred as soon as its opened. I've been an AAA member for a long time and only get an occasional mailing from them, usually some kind of magazine about what else? Travel....

So, I only have 2 more years before AARP considers me "retired" or at least a candidate for retirment? to bad I wont actually be able to retire for about 10 more years.... :/

No, still waiting, I think it said 2 to 4 or 4 to 6 weeks for delivery?? But in the meantime, I haven't received any unwanted emails or snail mail. So if it comes it comes if not then oh well.... :|
