I generally do all my music in weekend marathons. Mostly when the wife and kids are out of town so I have no distractions or excuses. Otherwise I procrastinate it to death.

I've been waiting on this weekend for a while now. I took off Friday just to get another day. :)

I agree with the author in that just putting aside a little time can produce the best results. Of course the mixing process can take a while, but getting the raw tracks down is most of the battle for me.
