Contestants' Choice

RiffRumble 19 Contestants Choice

Contestants voted for their favorite 3 songs that were not their own. The song that received the most votes from contestants was "Crosstown Traffic" by pooterpatty.

See the RiffRumble Forum for the top 6 contestants choice songs and responses from participants.

pooterpatty had this to say, "I was glad to have the chance to enter my song in this Riff Rumble. The initial idea came from sitting in traffic in a Jeep which had no air conditioning. Needless to say, tempers are quicker to flare in 100-degree heat, so that angered, frenetic pace seemed like the ideal inspiration for an up-tempo guitar instrumental. Thanks to Sonoma Wire Works for holding these RiffRumbles, they're a lot of fun to compete in, and it's awesome to see everyone bringing their A-game and using RiffWorks to it's fullest potential to create such wonderful music. Long live the Junkies!"

pooterpatty wins these prizes worth over $400:

iPod touch 8GB ($199)
GuitarJack iOS Interface ($149)
FourTrack iPhone App ($4.99)
RiffWorks T-Shirt (Any up to $25)
RiffWorks Trucker Hat ($11)
RiffWorks Messenger Bag ($19)

I'm sure I'm not the only one to see this but wanted to write my true feelings thru song. I thank all of you who shouted me and listened to my story of a sad lost soul...May the coming days bless them...to see other wise....Thank You All."
